Arbuckle- Rappe Tragedy Recalled. * Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle and Virginia Rappe, dead film beauty, were Irawn into the sordid picture of "Rev." Detectives' operatives reported that* twelve letters from women, all of a complaining nature 'and alleging offences by "the Rev." Newman, had appeared at the detective bureau office. * These letters, along with a mass of sensational evidence seized m the raid on Cohen's "love den," were ordered over to the district attorney's" office.
