Those who cannot help m a large way have a very good opportunity of helping the returned soldiers and sailors m a small way by investing a shilling or so m the Anzao Art Union, the proceeds of which are to be utilised m building *. soldiers' and sailors' club on the McHardy Gift section "at Palmerston North. A number of Manawatu farmers have provided 2200 sheep for disposal by art union for this purpose. Tickets are now for sale at the modest sum of one shilling each. The prizes amount to £2200, the first being 1000 good sheep. And every ticket has a chance m 250 prizes.' The drawing will take place on the date specified on tickets. There will bo no postponement. The advertisement m this issue contains a coupon which should bo filled up and forwarded, with remittance, to the Secretary of the Committee at Palmoreton North.
