"The Curse of War," a gorgeous and thrilling Pathe color is being switched on nightly this 'week at the Colosseum. A couple of nations go crook on one another over, nothing and war breaks out. A young blood is shook on a girl, whose brother argues the point on behalf of tho opposing forces. As a result of an Impromptu dustr up between the duo, our hero successfully scowers his prospective brother-in-law and smashes up four or live hearts at ono pop. The play is admirably set In appropriate surroundings, whilst the acting is on the top level of excellence. Apart ■ from the war films, tho programme contains a. diversified lot of subjects treating all phases of interest. Tho present bill will be screened to-day (Saturday) for the last time. A complete change being announced for Monday.
