OPERA H OUSE.

Herbert Fleming Company.

To-night the Fleming Comedy Company open at the Opera House with Isaac Henderson's four-act comedy, "The Mummy and the Humming Bird," from Wyndham's Theatre, London. Mr Herbert Fleming, will appear as Lord Lumley, while the part of Lady Lumley will be played by Miss Beatrice Day. The play is desci\ibed by critics as one of the finest high-class comedies that we have had m New Zealand for years. It is of the sterling, stuff that was introduced . . to New Zealand m bygone years by Messrs Brough and Boucicault. In fact, the name of Fleming harks back to that famous combination and will, therefore, always stand as a guarantee of the best ycomedy and the best talent to produce it.
