Several cases of neglect on the pairt of the CJiristchurch Hospital staff have teen reported to "Truth." One child, it is alleged, was admitted, suffering from diarrhoea, and after several weeks' treatment was taken out m a v«rfr much worse state than when put m. So bad was it m fact that the police actually went to the parents, and threatened to prosecute them for neglect. When, however, they discovered that the child had been m the hospital no further action was taken.
