Tom Armstrong and Priscilla Verne finish up at the Royal to-night and the pair, will be sadly missed as their like is hard to replace. Anyhow they cannot complain of the hearing which Wellington has ! given, them and "Truth" only hopes they will be back again .sometime or other. Slade Murray has been tootling about Tootle and a little Tootle too a ll the week and the Lion comiq-u-e is firmly installed r..8 a -great favorite., The Melbourne MeisterKm'?;ers have 'freen singing- m great glee. l ; 'but thoy should not attempt 'to act because they can't. Shaw and Gilbert are very clover when- they are sileat and their ldgomenia <• different to their Rags, because it- is new. Joe Verne's "Honey Lou" we-iiit down -..wall, but his dancing nradq -up. for a lot 1 of faults. Miss May Wallace has been alleging that moving, day is the first of May and has been . .encored m consequence. Miss Flo Westojy is pretty chic and pert m asking people if they can keep secrets and makes everybody yearn to tell her the secrets of their life, if she'd list-en. Miss Dorothy L* Estranges rendition of Estudiantina was very,. -effective \aaid warmly encored. The Lewis sisters are a fine young duo whose singing and dancing haveto be heard and witnessed to .be appreciated. To-ttiirht there will he a complete change of programme when several new artists will appear.
