He knew his way about. The man from distant Dungaree [ Stood higher than the door, And you mi^ht search Creation for The chap he couldn't floor. The man from distant Dungaree Boldi breasted he the bar, And slung a fiver to 'the maid, -.a£ With beer began to spar. c The man ; from distant Dungaree' Stood till the thirteenth; shout, When with a swinging counter 'on The "mark" beer knocked him out. The man from distant Dungaree Was lifted to one side By spielers who took all his cash' And gently did a slide. The man from distant Dungaree Got locked up as a "drunk" And lay all night upon tire floor Instead of m his bunk. The man from distant Dungaree When let off the next day, Made straight tracks for his country seat, • And walked it, all. the way. The man from' distant Dungaree .
