DIED OF BURNS
COOK’S TERRIBLE END CLOTHES CAUGHT FIRE. Per Press Association. WAIFAWA, January 11. Alice Norman, aged 25, single, a cook at the Commercial Hotel, received fatal injuries by burning last evening. Some fat on the stove caught fire, and ignited her blouse. She ran screaming into the street, and before tho llames could bo extinguished with a rug she was shockingly burned. After receiving medical attention she was removed to hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during the night.
