CLERK STEALS £127. Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, November 11. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day Claude Reginald Gaylor, a young man employed as a clerk wiih Wild and Bassett, pleaded guiltv to the theft of £127 from his employers, and was cominitteed to the Supreme Court for sentence. The magistrate reserved judgment on charges of depositing sawdust in the Hokitika river against two sawmilling companies.
