WOMEN’S NATIONAL RESERVE
Kl-lANDALLAH BRANCH. The annual meeting of the Khandnllah branch of the Women’s National Reserve wns held on Tuesdnv afternoon. There was a good attendance of members. In the absence of the secretary (Miss Bennett), Mrs Seed, president, read the annual report and bal-ance-sheet, which was most satisfactory to all concerned, not only the amount of money raised but the gifts in kind to the Residential Nursery. Mrs Seed also spoke upon the work of the welfare branch of the W.N.R., which met with a hearty response from all picsent. The following officers were elected: —President, Mrs Robert Gibbons; vice-presidents, Mrs Seed and. Mrs Davidson; secretary, Miss Bennett; committee, Mesdames Gledhill, Lockie, Moyes, Grant, Bennett, Williams, and Murrav. Hearty appreciation was expressed to tho retiring officers and committee. ,of Mrs Seed’s three years of able and tireless work as president: to Miss Bennett, whoso work as secretary has heen vorv fine.
