SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
The Misses M. Spencer, T. Colpus, and E. Williams were tho hostesses at the Sailers’ Friend Society on Thursday, when, in a warm, cosy institute, they and their helpers provided a bonny evening for the men from the shins. The performers were the Misses Douglas, I. Stanton, Omrnd. Walwa’k. I>. Douglas, Nichols, and Messrs Moiling, P Gibbons, Goldsmith and 3-wan. Mir>s R*. Nichols was at the piano. Nc\v thoughts are constantly cropping up ,thn.t make the competitions very happy ones, the prizes oanie from Mr< R Williams, Miss Emmie Williams and Mr Harrison, and went to the Ilmoratn, Runhine. Hertford, etc. The missioner. Mr *T. Moore, pleaded for c'on more help for the work of painting and repairing the building.
