AMAZING STORY OF CORRUPTION IN CHICAGO ELECTION VOTES CAST AT REVOLVER POINT CRIMINALS HAND-IN-HAND WITH STATE’S ATTORNEY The defeated candidate in a Republican primary election in Chicago alleges that notorious cri rainals worked hand-in-hand with the State’s attorney, and that the result announced was fraudulent.
By Telegraph —Press Assn. —Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cabla Association (Received June 4, 7.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 3. Sensational charges of fraud are made in a recount petition filed in the Superior Court at Chicago hy a defeated candidate for the Republican primary renomination as judge. The petition alleges that a notorious gangster, who is sought for shooting one of the State’s Attorney’s assistants with a machine-gun, worked hand in hand with the State’s attorney at the primary election.
It depicts election day as a riot of fierce and frenzied gunmen that would have disgraced the Wild West’s most bloodthirsty days, and asserts that gangsters instituted a reign of terror at the polls, kidnapping the election judges, intimidating the clerks, forcing voters to mark the ballots at point of guns, and compelling bystanders to count the ballots. It alleges that the checkers reported direct to the gangster chief, and that the murdered assistant attorney induced the police to disregard the voters’ complaints.
