COUNCIL DESIRES PROPERTY

The Wellington City Council wishes to acquire a. certain small piece of land near the Military Reserve, at Sentoun, on which there is a bathing shed, in order to make adequate provision there far bathers. The ownerhip of the property is in doubt. Either it is owned by the State or by Mr A. L. Crawford, The Mayer told the City Council on Thursday that Mr Crawford had said that he was willing to relinquish any claim he had in favour of the city.
