KENDALL STRING QUARTET
SECOND OONOERT TO-NIGHT.
After the wonderful reoeption accorded the Kendall String Quartet, there can bo no doubt as to the success of the Wellington season. The playing of these four ladies is marked by such mutual sympathy and understanding that makes for the perfect ensemble that is such a necessary feature in Chamber music. To-night in the Concert Chamber the second concert of the Beason will be given, and this will he the only opportunity of hearing one off the noblest works of chamber music, Tsohaikowsky in D. The beautiful andante, familiar to so mnny by the medium of the gramophone, will be heard in all its tonal beauty. At the following concert on Tuesday night Cesar Franck’s great quintet will be performed with Mr Bernard F. Page at the piano. Students’ concessions are to he obtained at the Bristol, where the box plan is now open for all concerts.
