One land and estate agent stated that nine out of every ten persons who are looking for homes to buy want one with a Government loan thereon at the old rate of interest, viz., 4J per rent., but it is getting harder every day, as owners will not sell unless they are absolutely forced to, such as being tranferred away from Wellington, etc.; but it is very interesting to note that one of Wellington’s loading land and estate agents has quite a number of such homes still available, four of which are advertised on the hack page of to-day’s “New Zealand Times” by the hive Wire Agent, R. Leslio Jones, 101, Willis street. .Wellington.—Advt.
