A rather strenuous argument took place in a tramcar recently in Wellington over certain statements a,ppearing in an advertisement in the “New Zealand limes.” fit appears that a hard working man when reading the “Times” mentioned casually that R. Leslie Jones was offering to build houses on £IOO deposit, when suddenly a man, for what purpose it is not known,' argued that it could not he done; and that the landlord was this and that and all the niee things imaginable. However, the tram was still on its way when one of the men in the argument Teft the tram; probably he is still arguing with himself ' that the landlord is still for all a nice, kind man. Argument or no argument, Leslie .Tones is still hooking up orders to buil<J homes on £IOO dtiXldt^rAdlt-
