ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 26. Six thousand people attended a public .welcome to the new Bisbop of Christchurch last evening in the King Edward Barracks. All denominations were represented, and there was marked enthusiasm. The Mayor, Mr J. ft. Archer, who spoke for the city, said he trusted that the stay of the bishop and his family would be as long as that of their predecessors, and that each year would -bring to them increas ed happiness and honour.
