LURE OF THE POLE
The lure of the Pole is more compelling than ever before, and 1926 is to be a great year in the annals of Arctic exploration.
So keen are the members of a German expedition to that vast, mysterious region known as Harris Land that for a whole year before they set out they are going to live like Eskimos, gradually acclimatising them* selves and changing their diet from that of civilisation to the raw meat, blubber, and frozen fish of the natives of the Far North.
