INSPECTOR CUMMINGS FREWELLED On the eve of his departure for Napier, where he has been appointed inspector-in-charge of the Napier police' district, Inspector Cummings, was yesterday afternoon tendered a presentation by fellow members of the Wellington police force and of the detective branch. Superintendent Emerson, jn making the presentation, which consisted of a Morris chair, made glowing reference to the splendid service rendered by Inspector Cummings during, his three and a half years in Wellington. Inspector Cummings suitably responded.
