PORT VICTOxTwiTH HARDWOOD. Carrying 7500 tons of hardwood for discharge at Auckland, Wellington; Lyttelton. and Dunedin, the Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Victor arrived at Auckland from Bunbury, via Port Kcmbla, at a late hour on Saturday night. On her recent round voyage the Port Victor loaded general cargo at New York, and discharged at Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. On completion xof her discharge she loaded hardwood at Bunbury and Busselton, returning to the first named port to fill up She left Bunbury on February 19th for Port Kcmbla, where she replenished her bunkers. SCHOUWEN FROM ST. JOHN. Flying the Dutch ling, the tramp steamer Schouwen arrived nt Auckland from St. John on Saturday evening. On her recent voyage the Schouwen, which has visaed New Zealand on two previous occasions, loaded nt Sydney (Cape Breton), St. John, nnd Newport News, clearing tho last-named port on January 28th. She arrived nt Colon on February 6th, and obtained transit through the Panama Canal on the same day. Tho voyage across the Pacific was made without incident, fine weather being experienced. From Auckland the Schouwen is to proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and New Plymouth, to unload the balance of her cargo. Sho is commanded by Captain T. CUMBERLAND REPORTS. Carrying general cargo from Home Sorts, the Federal Company's steamer umberland will arrive at Auckland tomorrow. A wireless message received by the legal office of the company, states that. the steamer expecto to reach port at 9 p.m. on that date. Hence she proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, to complete discharge. THE PORT CAMPBELL* With cargo from Australian ports, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell arrived at Hull on Wednesday of lost week. The Port Campbell has been fixed to load at New York towards the end of April for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. « MELBOURNE STEAMERS. The Union Company advise the following movements of their Melbourne steamers: — The Manuka, from Melbourne, arrived at Bluff yesterday, and was to leave 'again last night for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is dus here Friday, and sails the same day for Mel bourne direct. The Moeraki is due at Melbourne at 7 o'clock this morning from Bluff, and sails at 10 a.m. on Friday for Wellington and southern ports.

INKULA FROM NEW YORK. Chartered by th© Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the fteamer Inkula arrived at Auckland from New York early on Monday afternoon. Th© Inkula, which is loaded with case oil and general cargo, chiefly motor-cars, will also discharge at Wellington, Lvttelton, Timaru, and New Plymouth. When on her way from Jmmington, England, to Philadelphia, the Inkula encountered a series of violent gales and mad© a prolonged trip of 21 days. Cabins were repeatedly flooded, and the vessel lost two of her lifeboats, and suffered other damage. Two of the crew also received injuries. After discharging her cargo of pig iron th© Inkula went to New York, where ehe loaded her present cargo. She cleared the American port for New Zealand on Junuary 26th and. k call at Newport News for bunkers. She passed through the Panama Canal on February 6th.
