Thou shalt not in thy madcap race y The chickens and the goslings chase, Or chew my.little sister’s doll, And of its arms and legs take toll! | x Thou shalt not dodge ’neath father’s, feet To chase the postman down the street, Or bark and growl ’neath mother’s chair As though a cat were hiding there. Thou shalt hot, 'ere the morning dawns, Arise and scamper o’er the lawns, Or scratch the flowers from their homes To bury much-loved filthy bones. s Thou shalt not tear poor cook’s new stocking V Until the words she says are shocking, A \\f Or take a strange, uncouth delight rgM’ Vr .
