CANADA—-AUSTRALIA—N.Z. further reductions. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 7, 6.6 p.m.) • LONDON, August 6. The Pacific Cable Board, in pursuance' of its policy of affording cheap transmission to Empire Press messages, 'reduced the rate on August Ist between Canada, Australia, and New Zealand from 6d to 4d a word. It has been decided further to reduce the rate, from August 10th, to 3Jd, with the rate from Vancouver reduced to 2fd.
