SENTENCED TO SEVEN DAYS. Par Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. July 27. Lewis Downes (42), a labourer, was charged this morning with driving a motor-car while drank. He was sentenced to seven days in gaol, the magistrate remarking he was a danger to the public.
