NEW "TRAM ROUTE
COMPLETION OF WALLACE STREET SERVICE TO START MONDAY In spite'of the adverse weather conditions, the work of constructing the Wallaoe street tram route has been pushed on with all possible speed during the past few weeks. The tramtrack has for some time been ready, but the road paving work has of late been delayed, Although this is not yet quite complete it is contemplated ;that the street will be opened formally towards tho end of the present week, and will be used for a regular car service commencing op Monday next. The construction of this tram route will do much to relieve the congestion of cars, which now accumulate in increasing numbers from Courtenay Place to Lambton station. Whereas, at tho present time, nearly every route traverses Lambton Quay, the provision of John and Wallace streets will supply an outlet through Cuba street. It has not yet been definitely decided what curs will be taken through .Wallace itreet.
