STRUCK BY TRAMCAR
WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED While crossing Cuba- street at 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon,.! from behind atramoar, a womhn pot yet identified, ■was'knocked di>wn by. another' tram r car approaching ftom’the opposite direction. The unfortunate woman was rendered unconscious; and upon being admitted to the hospital, it was found that she had received’ serious head injuries. At 6 o’clock-.last evening, she had not recovered consciousneßS, and her-condition was .reported as being serious. The unfortunate young lady is Miss Ethel Edleston, aged nineteen years, and -wee employed in a J boardinghouse at 318,-Willis street. At 11,-p.m.,- last evening,' she had ‘pot regained 'Consciousness, and was reported to be in a very grave condition.
