Jacobsen, one of the Wellington nominees for the New Zealand test team versus Australia, gave an exhilarating display for the winners. Wesley and 'Varsity fought out a very even contest, the final result leaving Wesley victors by 4 goals to 8. For the winners Freeth played an outstanding game. .
