THE PEOPLE’S MONEY The Rost and Telegraph revenue for the quarter ended June 30th totalled £808.073, against £765,028 for tlie corresponding quarter last year. The postal revenue was £350,958, telegraphic £457,073. Tolls produced £84.146, and telephone exchanges £270.892, the latter an increase of £13.500. The Savings Banks deposits during the quarter were £8.290.799. an in-n-ease of £693.189 over the corresponding quarter 1924, and the withdrawals were £7,756,878, which is £56.000 less than in'l924. The surplus of deposits over withdrawals for the last quarter was £533,921, while last year deposits exceeded withdrawals by £215,270, a net improvement of three-quarters of a million.
