There war. a sensational sequel to the dismissal cf three City Council employees in connection with the electrical equipment case. Jamee Oalla/i and the two ether men were waiting at the steps- of the Town Hall to be called before the conciliation committee which was ‘about to hear their appeals against dismissal and two detectives were chatting with them. Oallan suddenly drew* a razor from his pocket and cut his throat. He was rushed to hospital but died before reaching it. Oallan had fifteen years’, honourable service in th© council employment.
