OVER-ESTIMATE OF STRENGTH. M. TROTSKY’S DISCLAIMER. Heater’s Telezram _ MOSCOW, July 4. It ' ia understood that M. Trotsky has issued a declaration ridiculing the reoent statement in the House of Commons .by Mr C. R. Attlee, Under-Sec-retory for War, that the strength of the Red l Army is 1,300,000. He says the strength of the Red Army is now under 600,000, and that the Soviet will attempt a further reduction. If Mr Ramsay Macdonald and M. Herriot take the initiative in the reduction of armaments in Europe, the Soviet will give them its entire support.
