RUGBY FOOTBALL
RAjLINI club. A meeting of footballers and enthusiasts was held at Otaki for the purpose of considering the formation of a club for the railway end. Mr Parker occupied the chair. It was decided to form a junior club to be known as the Halim Junior Football dub, colours, black and white halves; subscription, 5s (including insurance). It was decided to try and arrange a match wjth Otaki for Saturday. The following were elected office .bear, ere:—Patron, Mr H. B. Lethbridge; president, Mr Ben Ling; vice-presi-dents, Messrs Dug Webster, Hema te Ao, G. Siddella, H. Taylor, J. Fairley, &. E. Watson, P. Corliss, F. Higgott; secretary and treasurer, Mr P. Bennett ; management committee, Messrs J. Puti, P. Corliss, P. Bennett, R. Thomson, A. Flutey, G. SSddells selection committee, Mr J. Puti and captain (to be elected later); coach, Mr Ittiku Haipeta; delegates to union, Messrs S. Parker and J. Puti.
