AMERICAN ATHLETES

ARRIVAL AT MASTERTON. (Special to "Times.”) MASTERTON, January 10. The American athletes arrived by car at midday to-day and were tendered a civic reception. Mr F. W. Temple. acting-Mayor, welcomed the gueste. Other speakers were Mr G. R. Sykes, M.P. for Masterton. and Mr Watereonl president of the Wairarapa Centre. The team commenced training to-day, local athletes en force availing themselves of the good spirit shown by the visitors in ooaching allcomers.
