FOR MILITARY SERVICE

CLAIMS BY GERMAN ROYALTY. Australian and N-Z. Cable Association (Received August 20, 6.5 p.m.) BERLIN, August 19. The ex-Kaiser’s fifth son, Oscar, the ex-Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria, and ex-Duke George of SaxeMeiningen are claiming pensions from the Republic on account of military services. The claim of the last-named has been rejected, as he retired on his own initiative, not owing to incapacity for service. The others’ claims have not been decided.
