INTERCESSORY SERVICE
The service of intercession in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, held at midday yesterday, was presided over by Mr E. E. Pennington. The purpose of the proceedings was realised in the spirit of worship and devotion which prevailed. Prayers were offered by the Rev. W. Fancourt, Mr S. C. Baron, and Mr R. 11. Webb. Tho Scripture readings were Psalm xxxi by the chairman, Daniel iv. 8-37 by Mr H. C. South, and Lnke iv 1-24 by Mr T. C. Brash. Mr C. Collins officiated at the piano, and Eeveral wellknown hymns were heartily sung.
