RIFLE SHOOTING
PETONE CLUB. The Petone Defence Rifle Club will fire the first competition of tho final series for tho season at Trentham to-day Saturday), ten shots each at 300 and 500 yards. On March 25th tx match will be fired between town and country members. The series will be concluded on April Bth at 500 and 600 yards KARORI RIFLE CLUB. The Karori Rifle Club will fire the first stage of the competition for the Willoughby Cup. This oup is competed for under service conditions as laid down for the D.R.A. meeting. The first stage will comprise the shooting at the 200yds distance. This shoot also forms the second stage of the Molesworth trophy competition. SUBURBS RIFLE CLUB. The Suburbs Rifle Club will oommence their final Beriea of matches at Trentham on Saturday at ranges 300 and 500 yards. The club will fire their annual home and home match, against the Kiwi Rifle Club, Dunedin, on Saturday, April Ist, ranges for this match being 300. 500 and 600 yards.
