The “Morning Post” concludes a series of articles on the resettlement of the Empire’s whites by publishing a symposium of financiers’ opinions. The manager of the Australian Bank of Commerce thinks that group settlement is the most advisable and would be best under Government control. The Royal Bank manager agreed that resettlement was desirable, but declined to discuss methods on the ground that the governing considerations were largely political. Hie manager of the National Bank of New Zealand said that the transfer should be effected gradually. He did not expect that business men would provide much money.
