A TRIAL GAME. TEAM TO MEET AUCKLAND. At Newtown Park a trial game between two selected teams resulted in a win by “A” over “B” by 13 pcrants to 10. Notwithstanding the weather conditions, tihe game was fast and open, the result being in the balance mgh uip to the oall of time. The game was arranged to enable the selectors to pick the team which is to play against Auckland on Carlow Park next Saturday, July 30th, and South Auckland, at Hamilton, on August 3rd.
