A Warsaw communique states: The Poles have abandoned the lines on the Niemen river at Vilna. The Bolsheviks have reached the fortifications outside Minsk. The Polish army in tho Pripet region is advancing in the roar of tho enemy and has occupied Owrucz, completely defeating the Bolsheviks, killing 400 and taking prisoner 200, and capturing much booty. The Poles also defeated tho Bolshevik cavalry’, annihilating a brigade and capturing 80 guns. The cavalry fled towards Rovno, which the Poles are now attacking.

Helsingfors telegrams report that General Wrangel’s successes continue. General Kupetov executed a vigorous offensive in the rear of the “Red” army, forcing the Bolsheviks to fall back a considerable distance, the Kuban Cossacks taking prisoner 10,000 and capturing 50 Bolshevik guns. General Wrangel’s right wing is now operating at Toganrog, threatening the coal district of Benetz.
