ROBERT BURNS CLUB

Tho usual monthly social and dance of tho Robert Burns Club was held in the Ponsonby Hall. The attendance was much above tho average of recent meetings. • The following contributed towards the evening’s enjoyment :■— Mrs Webster, Miss Helen McLellan, and Mr Gray, vocal items; Misses Hori and Gladys Needham and Thelma Cnrroll danced thp Highland Fling and Shean Trubhais; and Miss Helen MoLellan tho clop-waltz. Mr Kraig delivered a very interesting ten minutes’ address on tho “Songs of Sootland.” Mr Donald Young supplied tho bagpipe music. Mr Do Castro was tho accompanist, and Mr J. McLelland was M.C.
