MINISTRY COMPLETED
HON. SIR HEATON RHODES. NEW MINISTER FOR DEFENCE. Hie Prime Minister announced yesterday the completion of the Aliiiistry by the appointment of the Hon. Sir R. Heaton Rhodes. Prior to the construction of the National Cabinet in 1915, Sir Heaton Rhodes (then the Hon. R. .Heaton Rhodes) held the portfolio of Postmas-ter-General, which he voluntarily resigned iu order to facilitate the formation of the National Government representing the two principal parties in tho House. Sir Heaton Rhodes now takes the portfolio of Defence, the Hon. J. G. Coates, who has been Acting-Defence Alinister, handing that portfolio to him. , but retaining those of Alinister for Public Works and Postmaster-General.
