At. a'-meotins of the "Wellington Rugby Kef woes' Association, held last night, Mr i. Neilson presided. It was. <ia"ided that a deputation wail m the. WeUinßton Kugby Union wUh ;lw view of pitting the appointment ->f referees left in the hands ot the o spoliation. The following, were e.lccicd to represent '>he association:—Messrs A. JSCeiHon, J. Moffitt and A. C. Ivitto. The meeting decided to _nsk Mr V. McKenzio to ■ give, his services m :n----•itvuctinpc new referees in the laws ot the game. An invitation is to ba extended to all R"Kby clubs to attend the Instruction moctinß. it was decided to Fend a circular to all members urging their attendance at the weekly meetings, also to advise members of tho sevon-a-sido tournament to take place at Athletic Park on April 2ith, commencin- at I.3<> p.m. It was decided to ask the Wellington Eugbv Union for a donation towards the funds of the association.
