DELAYED AWARDS
Dissatisfaction is expressed in some circles owing to the delay of the Arbitration Court in issuing its decisions. Two cases are mentioned—the Hotel and Restaurant Workers’ dispute and the Cooke and Stewards’ dispute. The hearings were taken at the last sitting of the court on February 12th—two months ago. The unions concerned and their .members are wondering that the delay should be so great. The members claim that they are losing seriously as a result of tho court’s inaction.
