ADDITIONAL STORAGE SPACE. Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, May 4. At a meeting of the Taranaki Pro- ! ducers’_Cornpany it was decided to take jup £25,000 worth of shares in the I Taranaki Farmers 1 Meat Company on i .undertaking of -the latter to erect additional storage, l accpmnwdatcon at Suiurc road. At previous meetings it was decided to increase the storage at the Producers’ Company works at Moturoa, the'estimated cost being £31,000. Mr Arthur Morton (chairman) pointed out that when things were normal the proposed 'additional buildings at the Moturoa works would be unremunorative, whereas the meat works could put them to very profitable use, besides which the great bulk of shareholders in the, meat works were dairymen. The extra space ' would enable nearly the whole of the season’s butter output to be stored and leave the Moturoa works free to accommodate about 110,000 orates of cheese, which, with the accommodation bf the factories, would provide for the, season’s cheese output.
