SOLDIERS’ ALLOWANCES
A DEMAND FROM DUNEDIN. Pr«M Association. DUNEDIN, May 7. Th© committee of tho Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association has passed a resolution demanding |increase» ink the allowances and pensions for soldiers, to be made retrospective to tho outbreak of the war, and pointing out that tho Minister, by refusing to recognise the justice of the claim has placed slower value on tho services of men who joined the Expeditionary Forces early in the war than on, those iwho are now going to the front.
