Reader save a splendid address on "Dropping the Pilot" to th« men's meeting, ana Aliss Black 6ang a toio, which was much appreciated. Over 10J soldiers and visitors attended the strangers' tea. '■'■ V Tiio utter-church -song service" was largeiv alluded and 202 soldiers served with free supper. The hev. Percv Knight (of -Christchurch) delivered an inspiring message at the resident soldiers'. service on Sunday morning. Between the hostel in Boulcott street and the main Y.U.C.A. in Willis street 303 beds were let and 817 meals served to men.^from/the camps,.over, -the- week> end.
