DROWNING FATALITY FEARED
Pres* Association. GISBORNE. April 29. Mr J. G. McLean, an old and respected resident of Puha, is missing, and tlie return of his riderless horse covered with slime lends colour to the theory that McLean was accidentally drowned while crossing tho river between Puha and Tokaraka. To-day the police have been dragging the river, but, so far have found no trace.
