Pros* Asmtlatlon. AUCKLAND, April 29. At Suva, on April 24th tho final motion, carried by the Legislative Council was: “That tlfis Council does express its unabated pride in the valour and self-sacrifice of the British and Allied armies, and its unshaken confidence in the ultimate triumph of tho just cause for which they are fighting, and unwavering devotion to His Majesty’s person and Throne. ■ Tho Council, on behalf of tho people'of the colony, offers to tho Imperial Government such further assistance in men and money as it has at its disposal.”
