The final was a great race, the five competitors almost touching simultaneously. These weekly races for the W. R. sommerville gold medal are eroatung groat interest amongst the boys of Wellington, large numbers attending each week to witness th© events. . . Tho following is the list of points gained to date for the gold medal, 3 points are awarded for a first, two for a second, and one for third places.
