Surgeon-General Henderson, Direc-tor-General of Medical Services, informed a “Times" reporter on Saturday that the men. from New Zealand are subjected to a severe medical test when they arrive in England. During the voyage ailments that have not been apparent before the men leave New Zealand develop in the case of some soldier*. These are detected by the medical men in England, and the taen are rejected for service. Xho causa of a number of unfit men being seen at one time In the concentration camps does not point that they are from one reinforcement. As a matter of fact, said General Henderson, the rejected men are allowed to accumulate before being sent back to the Dominion, and the one hundred '‘unfits” that have been mentioned in private letters from England represent those from reinforcements numbering upwards of twenty thousand men.
