MISS VIOLET ASQUITH’S WEDDING

A BRILLIANT AFFAIR. By Toiocraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, November 30. The Archbishop of Canterbury officiated at Miss Violet Asquith’s marriage to Mr Bonham-Carter, which took place at St.. Margaret’s Church. Diplomatists, Cabinet Ministers, and members of both Houses of Parliament attended. The interior of the church was beautifully decorated with orange blossoms. An immense crowd accorded an ovation to the bride and her father when they arrived at the church. The-King and Queen gave the bride a brooch, with the Royal ciphers and crown.
