New York reports state that the explosion at the Canadian munitions factory was caused by a . cordite-cut-ting machine jamming. Seven persons were killed, including Mr Lent, British Government Inspector of Explosives, and seven injured. An attempt to blow up police headquarters failed. The perpetrators of the outrage escaped.
